Yes..I am talking about A.R Rahman. He is truly gifted!!The songs of Jaane tu ya jaane na are very fresh and soulful..
you can listen to the songs from this website -http://www.dhingana.com/jaane-tu-ya-jaane-na/movie/songs/hindi/latest/3792
probably the best song of the movie-
Kahin to.. kahin to
Hogi wo,
Duniya jahan tu mere saath hai..
Jahan mein, jahan tu,
Aur jahan, bass tere mere jazbaat hai,
Hogi jahan subah teri,
Palko ki, kirano mein,
Lori jahan chand ki,
Sune teri baahoin mein..
Jaane naa kahan wo duniya hai,
Jaane naa wo hai bhi ya nahi,
Jahan meri zindagi mujhse,
Itni khafa nahi..
Saasein kho gayi hai kiski aahon mein,
Mein kho gayi hu jaane kiski baahon mein,
Manzilon se raahein doodhti chali,
Kho gayi hai manzil kahin rahon mein..
Kahin to, kahin to,
Hai nasha..Teri meri har mulaqaat mein,
Hoton se, hoton ko,
Chumti, o rehte hai hum har baat pe,
Kehti hai fiza jahan,Teri zamin aasmaan..
Jahan hai tu, meri hassi,
Meri khushi, meri jaan…
Jaane naa kahan wo duniya hai,
Jaane naa wo hai bhi ya nahi,
Jahan meri zindagi mujhse,
Itni khafa nahi..
enjoy guys!!

ich liebe Deutschland..
Just came back from a 10 day trip to Germany.. and oh boy,do i miss that place? The answer is yes! I had been there a couple of years back and this trip made me feel very nostalgic about the previous one...It was a very strange feeling because the last time i was waiting to come back to india and now i was equally excited to go there again!! Guess travelling alone makes you think crazy stuff..
Though i am not a big fan of football, I was lucky to be there during the Euro 2008..Cricket is a passion in India and Cricketers are worshipped.I felt the same mania in Germany during the Germany Vs. Turkey semis.. saw the match on giant screen and it was an out of the world experience...went to a Kloster(monastery in deutsch) and to a cute, little place called Eltville...walked along the rhine river, took a million photographs in the rosegarden, ate Brezel(pronounced as Pretxel) with Goat cheese(being a vegetarian is tough)...
Germans really know how to live their life. The shops close by 8PM on weekdays and no shops are open on Sundays.Family is of higher priority to them..you can see people relaxing, travelling to remote places and taking long vacations which is quite rare in India.I feel people in India are more inclined towards making money and mess up all relations in this process. Its time to realise that there is much more to life than money!! Ok..back to Germany..Unlike last time(the earlier trip to Germany requires another post and a loong one that too),this time, the amount of travel was almost negligible..Of course, the trip ended in a surprise- Casino. Going to a Casino for the first time in my life was definitely an experience of a lifetime.. Well, i dunno how the casinos in Las Vegas look but definitely this one was the most elegant and magnificiently done place i have ever been to!! it was more than my expectations i must say..Tall paintings, Red Carpeted floor,Gorgeous ladies formally dressed with hats and walking sticks(a la Titanic), Men immacutely clean..Alas! Photography is prohibited....played Roulette(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roulette) and was excited that i got back whatever money i had put in..not that a loss would have disheartened me or something but the experience in itself was awesome and the game was addictive which was why I decided to pull out soon :)
The day came when i had to board my flight back to India..this time again i had mixed feelings..excited about meeting friends, being with people you know..and again leaving a place which doesnt seem strange to you anymore..
Someday i would definitely return to this place with someone I know to cherish the place better...till then ich liebe Deutschland :)
